A week after the 2.5 update dropped, numerous leaks involving the 2.6 update involving The Chasm. Genshin Impact’s 2.5 Livestream revealed that the new region would finally be open to travelers. Aside from its appearance, not much has been revealed about the new enemy. Leakers have been hard at work in delivering news about The Chasm and what travelers can expect once they finally gain access to the area.

It is important to note that travelers should take leaks about the upcoming update with a grain of salt.

User @AyatoDailyyyyy shared some images of the upcoming boss in The Chasm featuring Kamisato Ayato’s character. We can see that the boss in the photos looks similar to the Ruin Serpent revealed in the 2.5 Livestream.

Many fans speculate that the ascension materials from this world boss will be for another character and not for Kamisato Ayato. In a reply to the tweet about the Ruin Serpent, one fan pointed out that this world boss may have something to do with Horizon character Aloy.

But others pointed out the Ruin Serpent’s resemblance to Pokémon’s Onix and Steelix.

The Ruin Serpent is made up of mechanical components like cogs and gears. But there is no denying that the new enemy in The Chasm resembles serpentine Pokémon Onix and Steelix.
