Opening Night

The Gamescom Opening Night Live will be kickstarting the world’s largest gaming convention. Geoff Keighley, a Canadian journalist, also host and producer, took to Twitter to announce that Genshin Impact will be a part of the event, stating that there are “special news updates” for the game.

With this limited information, players expect to know more about the future content of Genshin Impact. We also expect miHoYo to reveal the estimated release date for the arrival of Genshin Impact to Nintendo Switch.

About the past, fans can expect two possibilities. On the one hand, there might not actually be anything new, maybe just a trailer for the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 2.1 Floating World Under The Moonlight. In the past, when news about the game was teased, it turned out to be the latest trailer for upcoming updates, as in the case of E3 2021.

On the other hand, miHoYo might actually bring exciting news with new details about the Switch version release. Genshin Impact was announced for Switch even before the game’s global release in 2020.

  • Fans might also get news about the anniversary plans for Genshin Impact, or a Resin Pass announcement. In any case, we just have to wait a couple more days to find out!
