Genshin Impact: Horizon’s Aloy Joins the Roster!

Genshin Impact Horizon's Aloy Joins the Roaster

Just when we think Genshin Impact can’t get any better, it brings something amazing proving us all wrong. It has just been a few days since Genshin Impact 2.0 launched and we already have some exciting new information for the fans.

In an electrifying crossover event, miHoYo has decided to introduce a new playable character from Horizon. Fans are very familiar with Aloy, the protagonist of the 2017 video game.

“Everything I do is in the service of life, not death. That’s why I’m here with you. #Aloy Savior From Another World, Nora Huntress, Cryo, Nora Fortis. Travelers, let’s welcome Aloy – “Savior From Another World!”, the tweet from their official Twitter handle read.

Aloy in Genshin Impact

Aloy would be joining the roster of playable characters in the upcoming event, “Saviour From Another World”. She will be seen trading the machine-infested wilds of a future Earth for the lush lands of Teyvat when she arrives in Genshin Impact this fall. She would be introduced as a five-star character, and she looks so incredibly cute in the first banner revealed by miHoYo.

Her weapon of choice would be a bow, which is quite obvious considering her character in Horizon. Aloy would be a Cryo user, and she’ll be able to utilize a variety of ice-based abilities, which were not even seen in her original series. She is designed as a Nora Huntress and her constellation is set to be Nora Fortis.

When and How She Arrives

  • She would tentatively be available from September 01, 2021, as a collaboration character between Guerrilla and miHoYo.
  • The machine-hunting Cryo character will be free for everyone who logs into Genshin Impact on PS4 & PS5. She is all set to arrive via the in-game mail system, so be sure to keep tabs on those inboxes.
  • A plan for a second deployment phase will also coincide with an upcoming November 24 update.
  • All players who have reached Adventure Rank 20 or above will be able to claim Aloy for free directly through in-game mail.
