MiHoYo studio’s latest free-to-play action RPG has been the talk of the town lately and new details regarding the game’s tremendous success all of the world have been revealed.
Industry Analyst Daniel Ahmad took to Twitter to reveal few interesting tidbits regarding the game’s sales and popularity all across the globe, especially the Asian Market.
According to him, the game’s mobile version is trending at the top in a multitude of countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, etc. The game also had over 20 million registrations before its launch and has crossed even bigger numbers as of this writing, although no specific number has been revealed yet.
Genshin Impact is the studio’s first big AAA game, that too free-to-play that has been so well received not just in the Asian Market, but also the US. The game has a Metacritic User Score of 8.1 which is more than many of the big, paid, AAA games that had also released this year.
