Believable?

GeForce Now

The leaker on Reddit claims that all this information comes from the Nvidia Servers. This means it can be old, canceled, testing data, or something for the future. Apparently, NVIDIA is aware of the entire situation and has responded on the matter. It has also removed the access to the list.

“NVIDIA is aware of an unauthorized published game list, with both released and/or speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing. Inclusion on the list is neither confirmation nor an announcement of any game. NVIDIA took immediate action to remove access to the list. No confidential game builds or personal information were exposed.”

This basically confirms that the leaked Geforce Now the list is indeed real, but many games from it are speculative or just meant for internal testing. So, it is entirely possible that the listed games don’t actually exist.

What Does It Mean?

Now that we know that the list was real, we can make a few derivations but that doesn’t mean it’s official. First of all, the list consists of many unannounced games including Final Fantasy IX Remake, Bioshock RTX Remaster, Halo 5 PC, Crysis 4, Half-Life 2 Remastered, Injustice 3, and many more. At least a few of them are bound to be true!

Secondly, it mentions God of War 2018 and that too under Steam listings. This might mean God of War might be coming to PC very soon. You can play the game on PC using the PlayStation Now service but that would require a stable 5MBPS plus internet connection. God of War listing under Steam means that it might be the next PS Exclusive to get a PC version. While it might be one of the speculated games, but if it is true, then it is an incredibly hype-worthy development.
