Gotham Knights finally has a new release date after its delay last year. The co-op game with Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood will launch this October 25, 2022.

Last Wednesday, the official Twitter of the video game posted the announcement. But aside from the date, they haven’t released any other information about the game.

What we know so far about Gotham Knights

Batman is missing in action

Although it has the word ‘Gotham’ in it, this game does not belong in the same universe as Batman: Arkham Origins. According to Warner Bros. Games Montreal, Gotham Knights takes place in its own universe.

They also revealed that in the game’s universe, Batman isn’t around anymore to look after the city of Gotham. So, it’s up to the Gotham Knights to protect their city’s peace from villains plotting schemes. Some of these villains are Mr. Freeze and Penguin who we saw in past trailers.

Players can choose from four heroes

The game lets players choose from four heroes: Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Nightwing. Much like the other Batman games, Gotham Knights lets you upgrade skill trees so you can take out enemies more effectively. Additionally, these heroes have their own skillsets so it won’t be a dull moment as you let the Gotham Knights knock out enemies.

Which platforms is the game coming to?

Gotham Knights is coming to the PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Mark your calendars as the Gotham Knights arrive on October 25, 2022.
