Rockstar Games has released an in-game teaser for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, the remastered series of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the release of Grand Theft Auto III.
It was also verified today that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will have a physical edition. This will be obtainable on December 6 for € 59.99 at least on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. As per the official Rockstar Games website, this format is currently unavailable for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Improved But Still Classic
- The reimagined editions selected in this set will have numerous visual, performance, and gameplay advancements that will not disturb the spirit of the original.
- The Trilogy will refresh its appearance to fit current technologies, as noted out by several speculations that have been circling GTA Trilogy since this summer.
- We’ll see a new lighting system, a new interface, high-resolution elements, increased draw distance, and an optimized control system, similar to what we saw in Grand Theft Auto V.
Grove Street Games, a studio that has teamed up on porting games from the Grand Theft Auto series to mobile devices, is in command of the progress of this trilogy (both the three that make up this new remastered trilogy and the version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iOS and Android). They are based in Gainesville, Florida, and were originally known as War Drum Studios.
