GWENT Closed Beta Coming This Tuesday

GWENT – The Witcher Card Game will launch its first ever Closed Beta next week

Card games based-on popular Triple-A franchises are common these days. First Hearthstone and now GWENT. The Witcher card game looks incredibly good, and CD PROJEKT RED is giving you a chance to try out their upcoming game next week.

The Closed Beta is scheduled for October 25, coming Tuesday. The email I received also mentions what’s going to happen in the Launch Day. Here’s what the mail says –

We’re launching the Beta on October 25th. On that day, starting from 7PM CEST (10:30pm  IST), we’ll begin sending out invitations granting access to the game. Don’t worry if you don’t receive one immediately– we are planning to have more than one wave of invitations.

The process to make yourself eligible for the closed beta is simple. If you signed up for the closed beta earlier, you just need to sit back and wait for the email. It will contain all necessary instructions explaining what to do to start playing on the platform of your choice: PC or Xbox One. If you didn’t sign up before-hand, there’s nothing to worry about. You can still sign up for the beta and be one of the official GWENT beta testers.

Pre-Launch Twitch Stream

“Join us live on Monday, October 24th, at 7PM CEST (10:30pm IST) on the CD PROJEKT RED Twitch channel to check out brand new footage from GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. We’ll be playing a couple of rounds with the developers, talking about building decks, opening card kegs (yes, we have kegs!), and answering any questions you throw at us. See you there”, says the email.
