Halo TV Series: Release Date and Official Trailer

The Halo TV series on Paramount+ is starting to gain traction, and a brand-new trailer has been released. The teaser, which debuted during today’s AFC Championship game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs, provides us a better idea of what to expect from the streaming series and the events covered. Of course, actor Pablo Schreiber’s portrayal of Master Chief is the trailer’s biggest feature.

From what we’ve seen so far, it appears as the show will focus on events from the first Halo game. Fans will have to wait and see when the series begins.

Teaser

The news was made as part of a teaser for the trailer, which will air during the AFC Championship Game, which will pit the Cincinnati Bengals against the Kansas City Chiefs for the right to play in the Super Bowl.

Official Trailer

Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) will play the armored super-soldier, while Jen Taylor will reprise her role as Master Chief’s AI partner, Cortana, from the games.

The clip doesn’t reveal much about what to expect from the program, which, according to Paramount, “will take place in the universe” of the Halo games and pit mankind against the Covenant’s alien forces.

However, it’s unclear whether Halo would attempt to adapt the games straight or develop its own story within the franchise’s universe. The teaser concentrates on a few short views of the Halo characters, including Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, the founder of Cortana and the Spartan super-soldier program.

Release Date

The Halo TV Series will launch exclusively on Paramount+ on March 24th.
