Keanu Reeves has been at the heart of everything Cyberpunk 2077 since his stunning appearance during E3 2019. In addition to all of the promotional material for Cyberpunk 2077 that Reeves has been in, the character Reeves portrays in the game, Johnny Silverhand, has been recognized as one of the best features of the game. The actor, though, has not even played the game.
Reeves Hasn’t Played Cyberpunk 2077
- Keanu Reeves said he hasn’t played Cyberpunk 2077 in a recent interview with The Verge, claiming that he doesn’t play video games.
- While Reeves has seen demos of the game, he has never played it himself. This contradicts prior CD Projekt Red stories. However, it does seem strange that Reeves hasn’t worked on a project that he was so passionate about.
It’s incredible how long the debate about Cyberpunk 2077 has lasted. It’s been over a year since Cyberpunk 2077 originally came out. It is still far away from the experience that most people had hoped for. The release of a fresh roadmap of feature updates and DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed until 2022. Players may still have to wait for the game to fulfill its full potential.
Lawsuits were filed against CD Projekt Red earlier this year due to the failed launch of Cyberpunk 2077. It is only now that the company has moved into settlement talks. Meanwhile, the company is still working to resolve all of Cyberpunk 2077’s current issues. It will be interesting to watch where Cyberpunk 2077 goes in the future.
