Pre-order Hogwarts Legacy to get it in Early Access
The only way you can play Hogwarts Legacy in Early Access is by placing a pre-order for the game before its release on February 10, 2023. You may be having second thoughts of doing this since you’re basically purchasing the game before any reviews come out. However, pre-ordering Hogwarts Legacy includes other bonuses aside from Early Access to the magical open-world RPG.
- Hogwarts Legacy comes in three editions you can still pre-order now. The three editions are Base, Deluxe, and the Collector’s Edition. Although all pre-orders have Early Access, you may also get more bonuses depending on which edition you purchase.
- Pre-ordering for the game began as early as August 25, 2022. The devs also released what players can expect if they choose to pre-order any of the three editions. The Collector’s Edition is the priciest, but it includes the most bonuses out of the three editions.
- If you’re not keen on receiving physical merch, then you can opt for either the Base or Deluxe Edition instead. The prices for these editions are more affordable, and it’s perfect for the casual gamer.
- Remember that every pre-order includes 72 Hours Early Access to the game. This means that if you pre-order the game, you can play it three days before its official release on February 10, 2023.

Early Access is worth it if you can’t wait for Hogwarts Legacy
Aside from pre-order bonuses like cosmetics, the highlight of pre-ordering Hogwarts Legacy is you’ll get Early Access to the game. What this means is before every gamer can explore the vast Wizarding World, you’ll have three full days to discover its secrets and know more about the game’s story.
Although pre-orders are usually pricier than buying the game after its release, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. This is perfect for wizards and witches who just can’t wait to create memories in and out of Hogwarts. You can still pre-order the game through Hogwarts Legacy’s official website.
On the other hand, you can reach out to your local video game stores and see if pre-orders for the game are still available. There are also talks of the Collector’s Edition being sold physically in stores by February 7, but nothing is confirmed as of now.
