Ubisoft announced via a press release and on their website that Far Cry 5 would be receiving a free weekend. Owing to this free weekend, players will be able to experience and try out the full game in both single-player and co-op modes. The free weekend will begin on Friday, August 5, and end on Tuesday, August 9.
The game can be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC using the Epic Game Store and Ubisoft Store, and Stadia. Ubisoft decided to make this move to probably hype the fans and increase the user base for the upcoming 6th installment.
