India has defeated West Indies in the 2nd T20 by 8 runs. India has kept their winning form the same as before.  West Indies has lost the must-winning game. India leads the series by 2-0.

Kieron Pollard was playing his 100th T20I. he won the toss and opted to bowl first. The decision of choosing the field was obvious as the dew was going to come into play.

India loosed his first wicket, Ishan Kishan, in the 2nd over reducing India to 10 for 1. Thereafter comes a beautiful partnership between Rohit and Virat.  The run machine, Virat (52) has again come back in form. He scored a fantastic half-century. But unfortunately got out after reaching the milestone.

Rishabh and Venkatesh Iyer (33) made a final best partnership to end the innings on a good note. Rishabh (52*) made a fabulous fifty and remained unbeaten. With these knocks, India managed to give a target of 187.

The Caribbean required 187 to win their first match in the tour.

They managed not to lose early wickets in the game. However, spinner Yuzuvendra Chahal made his impact by taking the wicket of K. Mayers. After that, Ravi Bishnoi took the wicket of King reducing West Indies to 59 for 2. A fantastic partnership developed between Pooran and Powell.

They showed that a West Indies batsman has come back in form. It’s a very good sign for the West Indies team. Pooran(62) has taken the game from the hands of India. But the game savior, Bhuvneshwar Kumar came into the attack and took the wicket of the most dangerous batsmen.

Powell (68*) and Pollard kept on fighting but unfortunately, they couldn’t finish the game. If Pooran remained on the crease then it was a totally West Indies winning game. India won the game just by 8 runs. The game was interesting and thrilling.

However, there was a good sign for the West Indies as their batsmen have come back in form.
