The pioneer of K-pop’s Hallyu wave, BoA shared a wedding invitation through her Instagram story. Fans were quick to wonder if the 36-year-old K-pop singer is tying the knot. However, according to the Korean news media, BoA is not getting married. The invitation is for JTBC’s upcoming K-909 season 2.
The queen of K-pop BoA is well-known for appearing as an MC and judging various reality survival shows. She recently judged Mnet’s street dance show Street Man Fighter along with SUPER JUNIOR’s Eunhyuk and 2 PM’s Wooyoung. Apart from that she also presented the 2022 show Music Universe K-909 with K-pop professor JaeJae and assistant Haewon.
While promoting its upcoming season that BoA will be rejoining as an MC she shared a wedding invitation from her Instagram story. The invitation quickly went viral among her fans as they wondered if she is getting married.
BoA promotes season two of K-909 by sharing a wedding invitation
The Step Back singer shared a snapshot of what seemed to be a wedding invitation on April 24 through Instagram. She captioned the photo by announcing that her “invitation came out.”
The card read “We, who appear to be looking in the mirror, shall eventually become one. We will adore, understand, and love one another, and we will create the brightest stage in the world. If you come and bless us on the day the curtains are raised, [then] we shall cherish it with joy.”
The wedding invitation also included a link that disclosed the mystery behind the invitation. Fans who opened the link soon realized that they are invited to watch the second installment of JTBC’s show K-909. Netizens expressed their surprise regarding the post and many appreciated BoA’s witty promotions.

JTBC’s K-909 to return with season 2 and BoA will continue as the show’s MC
At the end of the first season of JTBC’s K-909 in 2022, the first-gen K-pop idol BoA promised to meet the audience soon with better stages. Following the release of the promotional invitation it seems BoA is ready to fulfill her promise 5 months after the season 1 finale.
According to various Korean media outlets, JTBC is ready to present K-pop idols with more unique and one-of-a-kind stages. The show previously featured many surprising collaborations and performances that were broadcasted for the first time.
