On the other hand, Kensi and Deeks receive news that they are expecting a baby. Additionally, Sam and Callen started out on a new assignment, thanks to the guidance of Hetty Lange.
The finale really managed to tie some loose ends, with Callen and Anna opting for a small courthouse wedding. Devin Rountree wins a life-changing settlement while Sam receives some positive updates about a medical trial for his father.
While the series finale did feature a final case involving the team’s assistance to a deep-cover ATF agent in dismantling an arms-dealing ring, showrunner R. Scott Gemmill revealed that the primary focus was providing a satisfying conclusion for the characters.

NCIS: Los Angeles holds a significant place in television history, tied as the fifth longest-running scripted series on CBS. Only Gunsmoke, Lassie, CSI and Criminal Minds have had more runtime.
Notably, the latter two have been revived by CBS which leaves room for speculation about the future of NCIS: Los Angeles. The idea of a future reunion or continuation on Paramount+ cannot be ruled out as fans still hold on to a glimmer of hope.
