The developers of Paladin, Smite, and Realm Royale, Hi-Rez Studios, is releasing a new game called Rogue Company. The game is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC (via Epic Games Store), and of course, Nintendo Switch. But the question is, is Rogue Company free to play?
For those who aren’t aware of the game, Rogue Company is a multiplayer third-person shooter. There is a range of playable characters. There are objectives, game modes, and many maps.
Since many people are playing the game right now, do we know if the game is free to play? Or will we have to pay to access the game?

The game is intended to be free to play. But in its current state, the game is in Closed and Paid Beta access. To play the game right now, you can do two things –
- Register for the Closed Beta through the game’s official website and wait for your luck to shine, or
- You can buy one of the game editions and get access to the Closed Beta immediately

What To Do To Play It Free of Cost?
To play Rogue Company free of cost, you can either register yourself for the beta, or the only other option is to wait. Once the game’s beta phase is over, in its final release, the game will go free-to-play. That’s when everyone can jump in and play the game for free. But, there’s a catch.
Will It Be Too Long Before Rogue Company Goes Free To Play?
Considering Hi-Rez Studios’ history, their games stay in the beta period for a very long time. Even for Paladins and Smite, those games were in beta for a significant amount of time. So, it might be a few months at best before Rogue Company goes free to play.

When Is Rogue Company Releasing For Free on Nintendo Switch?
