John Cena’s Current Net Worth (As Of 2022)

Wrestling fans remembered John Cena as a superstar in WWE. But, after years of pounding “the rock” (literally and figuratively), he is already more than just a wrestler. In this article, we will be taking a look at John Cena’s current net worth and where he ranks amongst the richest wrestling icons.

As of today, John Cena, 45, holds an $80 Million net worth in his name. He is just behind Triple H and Stephanie McMahon who has a combined net worth of $150 Million. The 21-time champ once became the highest-paid wrestler back in 2018 when he earned a huge fortune of $10 Million, dethroning Brock Lesnar along the way.

After semi-retiring from wrestling, John Cena continued his Hollywood dreams through various movies and shows like Bumblebee (2018), Fast and Furious 9 (2021), Suicide Squad (2021), and probably his best one, Peacemaker (2022). With this, he follows a similar path to what another famous wrestling icon, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, took. Subsequently, The Rock is currently one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood and currently has a total of $800 Million.

On the other hand, long-time WWE CEO, Vince McMahon, still holds the top spot for the wealthiest wrestler of all time with a huge bag of $2.3 Billion. Even with a lot of allegations and problems surrounding the 72-year-old, he still owns most shares of the WWE up to this day.

In other news, John Cena returned to WWE Raw, not to fight, but to give thanks to the WWE and its fans.

Cena was invited to RAW last month to celebrate his 20th anniversary with the WWE promotion. Apart from a tense confrontation with Theory (a young and upcoming wrestler) backstage, this once-in-a-lifetime event featured John Cena’s heartfelt message to his fans plus video footage of some of the highlights of his career.

The veteran wrestler has been out of the wrestling spotlight for quite some time now due to his acting career. But, the former champion is still considered one of the best wrestlers today.
