Chapter 221 showed Satoru Gojo being unsealed from the Prison Realm and returning to the series after 131 chapters. The Six Eyes sorcerer immediately tried to kill Kenjaku and recover Suguru Geto’s body, before being intercepted by Sukuna who is currently using Megumi Fushiguro as his vessel.
Intending to learn more about what had transpired in the nineteen days he had been cut off from the outside world, Gojo decided to challenge the King of Curses to a proper battle on December 24, which also happened to be Geto’s death anniversary. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 222 leaked spoilers reveal that the title of the latest chapter is “Omen.” The raw scans begin with Sukuna ingesting four more of his fingers, bringing his current strength level up to that of nineteen fingers. Uraume begs for forgiveness and admits that he has failed to locate the final finger, but Sukuna brushes it off and guesses that Gojo likely hid the twentieth finger in an attempt to prolong Yuji Itadori’s life.
Sukuna decides to replace the finger with a portion of the mummified remains Kenjaku had collected from Hida mountain. The sorcerer comments that he always thought that Nanami was the kind of person to survive anything, prompting Ijichi to apologize.
