The long-awaited Nintendo Direct 2023 has passed. In the live stream, Nintendo showcased many new titles that will be coming to Nintendo Switch. One title that got fans excited was Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1. In this article, we will talk about all platforms that can play MGS Master Collection! Let’s dive in!
Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1
Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 will be released on October 24. In addition to that great news, they announced the added features for the next bundle. This exciting news was announced on June 21’s Nintendo Direct, which also confirmed a lot of other announcements, including the shadow-dropping of two beloved GameCube games for the Switch.
This Master Collection Volume 1 will include five titles from the franchise:
- Metal Gear Solid
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
- Metal Gear
- Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
Platforms that can play MGS Master Collection Volume 1
The release date for Konami’s forthcoming Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 was initially made public last month at the PlayStation Showcase. In the showcase, Konami claimed that the bundle would only be available for PC and Sony and Microsoft’s current-generation gaming platforms.

However, Konami has made fans of Nintendo satisfied with the confirmation of Master Collection Vol. 1, which will also be heading to Nintendo Switch.
