Twitch streamer Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), the most prevalent type of leukaemia. On March 3, she informed her followers of her illness via Twitter and said she would begin treatment “very soon. ”
Since then, she has received a bunch of good wishes from followers, other broadcasters, gaming celebrities, and the entire Valorant community.
Kyedae has over 2.2 million Twitch followers, making her one of the most popular content producers. In a livestream, on March 3, Friday, she discussed her condition and was transparent about how she is handling the situation.

Due to her cheery and lovable nature, she has amassed a sizable fan base in a very short period of time. The streamer discussed how she has been using comedy to deal with the stress of having leukaemia in her first stream following the announcement of the diagnosis.

Moreover, creators like Nathan “leaf” Orf and Trent “trent” Cairns also pitched in, sending assurances that her reputation will be safe even if she can’t stream and asking her to get plenty of rest. Kydae informed her viewers that she would shortly begin chemotherapy. She also said that because of the nature of the treatment, her plans for livestreaming might change. “Streams will probably get… less regular, considering like, with chemo. I’m sure a lot of you, or I’m sure some of you might know what it does to your body. And, like, I already feel quite sick. I’m trying, like, my best to put on a normal face in front. But I’ve been dealing with a lot of, like, health complications recently. Actually, for a little while now.”

Kyedae arrived from VCT LOCK//IN in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she was encouraging her fiance Tyson “TenZ” Ngo’s and the rest of the Sentinels squad.
Kyedae, who is only 21 years old, already has 2.1 million Twitch followers. She is now among the best and youngest streamers in the world of Valorant. Further, she has substantially progressed as a player and will eventually compete in Immortal I in 2022.
As one of the first admission guests visiting the Philippines from June 2 to June 4, she was also prepared to appear at the CONQest Festival, 2023.
