The latest Genshin Impact updates are bringing new and fresh content to the game after the Sumeru region opened its gates to curious Travelers. One of the latest leaks provided by Genshin Impact data miners says that we are getting a new World Boss in the 3.2 update.
Since Genshin Impact is adding new characters to its playable roster over the course of the next updates, Travelers need to defeat World Bosses to obtain materials. With the introduction of Sumeru characters, it’s common for their ascension materials to be dropped by newly-released World Bosses.
Here’s what we know about the latest Genshin Impact leak arriving in version 3.2.
Genshin Impact adds another cube World Boss in version 3.2, according to a leak
The first few World Bosses we encounter in Genshin Impact are the Hypostases. These are the floating cubes we can find scattered all over the map. Upon defeating them, they drop important materials needed to ascend characters, especially in the early game.
The Hypostases World Bosses we have in Genshin Impact so far are the following:
|Anemo Hypostasis||Stormbearer Mountains, Mondstadt|
|Electro Hypostasis||Cape Oath, Mondstadt|
|Cryo Hypostasis||Dragonspine, Mondstadt|
|Geo Hypostasis||Guyun Stone Forest, Liyue|
|Pyro Hypostasis||Kannazuka, Inazuma|
|Hydro Hypostasis||Watatsumi Island, Inazuma (Suigetsu Pool)|
It doesn’t come as a surprise that Genshin Impact 3.2 will add the Dendro Hypostasis to the list of World Bosses available in the game.
- Although the ascension materials of characters like Tighnari and Collei are already collectible, another Dendro character may need the materials dropped by the Dendro Hypostasis.
- Leakers hint that the Dendro Archon herself will need the materials only obtainable from the Dendro Hypostasis to ascend.
- Kusanali (AKA Nahida), the Dendro Archon, is speculated to also come out in Genshin Impact 3.2.
It only makes sense that the Dendro Hypostasis World Boss in Genshin Impact arrives in the same update as Kusanali, the Dendro Archon. If she really is the character who needs the materials from this new World Boss, players who pull for her will need to square off against this Hypostasis.
The Dendro Hypostasis will be the second World Boss in Genshin Impact which possesses the Dendro Element. The first Dendro World Boss arrived at the start of update 3.0, in the form of the Jadeplume Terrorshroom.
Leaks also suggest that the Dendro Hypostasis is similar to a previous World Boss
The information about another Dendro boss came from UBatcha first. For those who don’t know, UBatcha is one of the most reliable leakers in the Genshin Impact community.
The first piece of information they posted about this is a simple announcement tweet about a new World Boss in Genshin Impact 3.2. They didn’t share much information about which character needs its materials but it’s likely it’s going to be Kusanali.
I'm sure you guys can figure out who uses its mats

Another leaker then provided more details about the Dendro Hypostasis boss. Confiming UBatcha’s announcement about the Dendro Hypostasis, hxg_diluc proceeds to reveal what Travelers can expect once they face off against this World Boss.
Difficulty similar to Hydro Hypothesis https://t.co/J5svsvroxL

hxg_diluc states that the upcoming boss will have a similar difficulty to the Hydro Hypostasis. Honestly, we don’t know whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing since most Genshin Impact players avoid two cube enemies at all costs: the Pyro and Hydro Hypostases.
- Even though the cube bosses in Genshin Impact are usually easy to defeat, these two are an exception given how annoying they are to take down.
- Among all the other Hypostases we have so far, the Hydro one is definitely a frustrating one to beat considering how small of a window it gives you to launch attacks.
- If the Dendro Hypostasis turns out to be as difficult as this Inazuma World Boss, we’ll need all the Pyro and Electro we can get to hopefully take it down faster.
Kusanali is a character worthy of your Primogems in Genshin Impact
Since she is rumored to be the character who needs materials from the Dendro Hypostasis, you may be wondering if she’s worth pulling for at all. Now that we know a little bit more about Dendro Archon’s kit, she sounds like a good addition to your team comp.
Aside from Travelers wanting to complete their all-Archon team, Kusanali makes a great Support. If you have the Raiden Shogun on your team, you should consider making Kusanali her Support.
We’re sure the time and effort we’ll sacrifice in defeating the Dendro Hypostasis will be worth it once Kusanali comes home. Here’s to hoping that this new World Boss in Genshin Impact isn’t as tough as some leaks claim it is.
