League of Legends patch notes for update 12.14

The newest update went live yesterday, July 27. And although it didn’t bring with it other updates like new skins or a new Champion, this update covers almost every aspect in the game. As we mentioned, the new update in LoL is focused on bringing balance changes to heroes, enemy units, and overall gameplay.

However, what kind of patch update is complete without Champions getting either nerfed or buffed? Here is an overview of the patch notes for the LoL update 12.14:

Healing is getting nerfed in the new update

After Riot put out the durability update two months ago, players are starting to observe that games are taking longer to finish. Healing can play a big part in making a game longer than it has to. So to solve that, there are Heal/Shield adjustments in the new patch.

With that being said, some Champions, Spells, and items are adjusted in the new update for League of Legends.

Which Champions are nerfed and buffed?

The Champions receiving nerfs in the new LoL update are Sivir, Zeri, Gnar, Renata Glasc, and Yuumi.

For Zeri users, Riot has made the decision to remove her bonus damage when using the right click. Now, Zeri’s right-click attack is an execute spell which deals lower damage. But to make up for this nerf, Zeri’s DMG from her on-hit attacks are increased.

And if you use Sivir, her Ricochet is the main priority of her nerfing. But compared to Zeri, this is Sivir’s first nerf while Zeri has received a whopping twelve adjustments since her release.

As for Champions receiving buffs, Teemo, Alistar, and Pantheon are among those who have buffs for this update.
