Bangaloreans, it’s time you pick up your controllers, crack your bones and buckle up for the ultimate FIFA Championship near you. LudusPro, a young gaming organization based in Bangalore is ready to take off the second season of the Bangalore FIFA Championship this December.
LudusPro – An Introduction
LudusPro is a Bangalore-based gaming organization that aims at harnessing the power of the gaming community by being a one-stop shop for gaming tournaments, both online and offline. When asked about LudusPro to satisfy my curiosity, co-founder Samiksh V.R. said, “I have been a professional gamer myself so I know what are the things that need to be addressed at and the things that are very vital to encourage a gamer. Our aim is not just to utilise the existing database of gamers but to create more gamers and that is why we are the next-generation of organising and hosting tournaments centred around serious gamers and hobbyists in an environment that makes it competitive and fun at the same time.”
LudusPro has also organized the qualifiers for Cyber Game Fest in the past. CGF 2017 was a huge event organized by the Singapore Government, for which LudusPro organized 4 online qualifiers here in India. Top 2 players from each qualifier were selected for the National Finals. The winner represented India at the main event. Also, the Top 8 were given prizes worth Rs. 25,000.
The first season of the Bangalore FIFA Championship took place on July 16 of this year, that offered a prize pool of Rs. 30,000 and attracted over 100 players from all around Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai. Enough backstories, now let’s head on the details of the second season.
