Opening date and ticket cost
The ride is located in two exclusive Disney theme parks: Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, and Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
- It was first announced as part of the D23 Expo in 2017. The attraction was first opened at the Hollywood Studios in Florida’s Disney World in March 2020. At Disneyland, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened to the public on January 27, 2023.
- The ride costs $8 in Florida’s Disney World whereas the new one in Disneyland costs $20 on Individual Lightning Lane purchase method. Before you book the ride, make sure you have the Disneyland app downloaded and ready on your phone.
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway features more hidden Mickeys than any other ride. Compared to the one at Disney World, the new one in Disneyland features a bonus room, a superior queue, and a more organic setting in the El Capitoon area.
