Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield collaborates for “Holy Ears” marijuana edibles; reunited 25 years after infamous ear-biting incident

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield Holy Ears

Two of the most prolific boxers in the 90s are once again together on the same stage, not to fight, but to collaborate. Heavyweight champions Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are teaming up to concoct “Holy Ears”, a cannabis-infused edible following Iron Mike’s “Mike Bites” with a similar idea. Holy Ears are Ear-shaped gummies that are reportedly in “Cherry Pie Punch” flavor. These gummies take inspiration from the notorious incident between the two boxers more than 2 decades ago, during a heavyweight championship bout.

The former rivals have agreed to be partners under Carma Holdings where Tyson’s “Tyson 2.0” Cannabis company is currently operating. 25 years after the infamous ear-biting incident in the ring, Tyson and Holyfield will relive history, only this time, they will not be punching each other’s faces nor will one of them bite off a portion of the other’s ear. If you are wondering when, where, and how you can get your hands on the new “Holy Ears”, read more below.

  • Holy Ears will be available starting this month
  • You can avail of these marijuana edibles online (nationwide) or in retail stores located in Arizona, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey.
  • As for the varieties, Holy Ears will be available in THC, Delta-8, and other unannounced varieties.
  • Furthermore, Carma Holdings also reportedly wants to make a Cannabis brand dedicated to Evander Holyfield himself.

The History: It’s been 25 years since Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield had one of the most shocking boxing matches im history

June 28, 1997, the day when Holyfield almost lost his ear to a rampaging Tyson. During the WBA Heavyweight Championship between two of the best boxers at that time, Iron Mike did something bizarre by biting off a piece from The Real Deal’s ear during a clinching period.

Tyson was then disqualified from the match and lost against Holyfield. As a result of his actions, the federation suspended Tyson’s professional boxing license although it was later reinstated after a few years. Since then, the two have already reconciled and have settled their previous feud. Through the years, both Tyson and Holyfield have talked about the fight and what happened back then. It is definitely amazing to see that time does really heal all wounds (figuratively and literally). Back then, both fighters were in their prime and had the will to kill each other for fame and fortune. Now, they can make a lot of money from Cannabis instead of sacrificing their own bodies.
