Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, Update v1.18.10 Patch Notes

On all platforms, a new Minecraft update, V1.18.10, is now available.

Some “new experimental features with frogs and tadpoles,” the addition of the Globe Banner Pattern, a modification to Iron Golem, and “several more textures to match Java Edition” are among the highlights, according to Mojang. As a result, Mojang hints that these new features are “only the beginning of new content for The Wild Update!”

Before enabling the aforementioned new features, Mojang advises that all players make regular backup copies of their favorite worlds.

v1.18.10 Patch Notes

  • Realms, like local worlds, now have the ability to change world settings directly.
  • In order to comply with gaming rules in South Korea, we introduced gameplay timers and messages to help remind players to take breaks from gameplay.

Froglight

  • There are now three new Froglight blocks to play with, Pearlescent, Verdant, and Ochre.
  • Light is emitted by the Froglight blocks.
  • By luring a Frog near a small Magma Cube, the blocks can be collected. The Magma Cube will be eaten by the Frog, and a Froglight block will be dropped. Each type of frog will drop a distinct Froglight block.

Frogs and Tadpoles

  • Swamp biomes will spawn frogs.
  • On land, frogs can croak, jump, swim, and walk.
  • Frogs may eat Small Slimes, causing a Slime Ball to fall.
  • You may use Seagrass to lure and breed frogs, although it is only a temporary food source.
  • Tadpoles that reach adulthood will become frogs.
  • After mating, frogs produce eggs.
  • Tadpoles are born when the frog eggs hatch.
  • Tadpoles are able to swim in the water.
  • When on land, tadpoles “jump around” like fish and eventually die.
  • Tadpoles develop into different types of frogs depending on the biome in which they are born.
  • You may use a bucket to catch tadpoles.

Sculk

  • By turning on this option, you can now use Sculk block features.
