So, to commemorate the massive milestone, YouTube is celebrating it with some fun features. There’s a Minecraft-themed takeover of the YouTube homepage, and creators are sharing their favorite Minecraft memories using #minecraftmuesum over on YouTube’s Instagram.
- You Tuber @jwaap was The first-ever Minecraft video on YouTube nearly 12 years ago on May 17, 2009. Now YouTube has released data that reveals there are over 35,000 channels that dedicatedly create Minecraft-themed content.
- In 2020, Minecraft was both the top game and top live game watched on YouTube with India bringing in 20 billion views of videos related to Minecraft this year alone.
- Many YouTubers are gaining subscribers and views through Minecraft videos. Some Indian content creators are taking views such as Hindustan Gamer Loggy, Chapati Hindustani Gamer, Techno Gamerz, and several others.
