Missing North Texas Boy's Family leaves the Country, Raising concerns - Featured

A six-year-old boy named Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez from North Texas has been missing for a few months now and recently, police have confirmed that his family has left the country, raising concerns from both authorities and concerned citizens. Following the press conference from the Everman police department, a lot of speculations and questions surround the disappearance of the little boy from North Texas.

Police discover abandoned vehicle of the family of the missing boy from North Texas

Days before the Everman Police Department put out an AMBER Alert for the missing North Texas boy, his family has apparently left the country. They discovered the family’s truck in a garage at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

  • Police Chief (Everman PD) Craig Spencer informed the public that the family left on a flight to Istanbul, Turkey. The flight manifest lists all family members accounted for except for Noel, the little boy who is reportedly missing.

  • The family members who boarded the flight are Noel’s mother, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, stepfather, and six other siblings. One of the children’s electronic travel visas were also found in the abandoned family truck.
  • Before the family left the country, police were able to speak with Rodriguez-Singh on Monday, March 20. Authorities decided to do a welfare check after Child Protective Investigations (CPI) received an anonymous tip about Noel. According to the anonymous source, they have not seen the little boy since November of last year.
  • The missing North Texas boy’s mother has also faced investigations from Child Protective Services (CPS) in the past.

Noel’s mother was “intentionally avoiding authorities”

During the welfare check, Rodriguez-Singh informed the police that Noel was not with her since he was in Mexico with his biological father. A few days after this, the CPI was able to track down Noel’s biological father and ask him questions about the little boy.

  • The missing North Texas boy’s biological father then revealed to authorities that he has never met Noel. To back this up, he told authorities that he had been deported back to Mexico before Rodriguez-Singh could even give birth to Noel.
  • Authorities verified the biological father’s statements and reached out to Rodriguez-Singh again.

  • Unfortunately, their attempts to contact Noel’s mother were unsuccessful. Police issued a warrant of arrest for Rodriguez-Singh on the grounds that she made false reports about a missing person.
  • Concerns about Noel’s safety and status grew when police discovered his six other siblings haven’t been back to school. It was only recently that Rodriguez-Singh called and informed them that she would be pulling her children out from school.

Police change the AMBER Alert for missing North Texas boy to Endangered Missing Persons Report

Now that police have discovered the family left the country, they discontinued the AMBER Alert. Instead, they issued an Endangered Missing Persons Report for Noel. They are worried for Noel’s safety as the missing North Texas boy has several disabilities. He also suffers from chronic lung disease which requires oxygen to help Noel breathe at times.

Police Chief Spencer appealed to the public to help them in locating and ensure the safety of the missing boy. Given all the circumstances, including the family leaving the country and fleeing to India, it seems the police are shifting this into a criminal investigation

“The circumstantial evidence is certainly building up to a level where it becomes criminal,” Police Chief Spencer said in their more recent press conference. Although there have been rumors talking about Noel being trafficked and sold, police say they are still unable to gather evidence that suggests this.
