If you’re a fan of MMORPGs, then you’ve probably heard of Ashes of Creation by now. It was the talk of the town in the MMORPG community back in 2018, but since then, the game hasn’t ended its testing and early access phases. With 2022 coming to an end, some gamers still wonder if the game is coming out. What is Ashes of Creation?
Ashes of Creation is an upcoming MMORPG from Intrepid Studios Inc., a video gaming company based in San Diego, California. For the past five years, they have worked tirelessly to perfect and release the game to the general public. However, some fans are starting to become impatient with all the wait that’s taking place regarding the game’s release.

The title from Intrepid Studios Inc. is a PvX (player versus anything) MMORPG that gives players an immersive experience in roleplaying games. So far, the trailers we’ve seen feature impressive character customization, combat, and gameplay.
According to the game’s official wiki site, the Pre-Alpha phase for the MMORPG title began as early as December 2017. Their first open beta started a year later, on December 18, 2018. At this point, gamers expected Ashes of Creation to at least release as a complete, stable title. From previews alone, the game looked breathtaking and promising for fans of the MMORPG genre.

In 2019, the game entered Early Access. That’s when more people started entering the world in Ashes of Creation. The apocalypse-slash-battle royale themes of the game were enough to get a lot of MMORPG fans hooked and wanting more. Closed testing of the game officially ended on March 10, 2020. By then, things were looking up for gamers anticipating a final release date for the highly anticipated MMORPG.

Fast forward two years later, and unfortunately, Intrepid Studios Inc. has no official word regarding release plans for Ashes of Creation.
Possible release date
The original release date for Ashes of Creation was originally 2020. However, the release date got pushed back so much that its next possible release date is 2023. The game may have had enough time to simmer at this point, and considering the number of alpha and beta phases the game has gone through, it will be more polished than ever at launch.

If you purchased the pre-order pack released in the past, you’re guaranteed access to any other upcoming alpha/beta tests for Ashes of Creation. For players who are only getting into the game, you may have to wait or keep yourself posted for any news from Intrepid Studios Inc.
With Alpha 2 spot testing for Ashes of Creation released, servers in this phase will be live until launch. We believe it won’t take long until we finally see a launch window for the game.
