Following the incident, MrBeast reveals that he got an invite to join the underwater expedition, Just a few days after the Titan was confirmed to have imploded at the bottom of the ocean. MrBeast, a well-known YouTube personality with over 160 million followers, claims he was offered a spot on the Titan submersible that exploded on its way to the Titanic ruins but turned it down.

“I was invited earlier this month to ride the Titanic submarine, I said no,” said the famous internet personality, Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast.

A cropped photograph of what looks to be a text message inviting him on the trip was also published by the 25-year-old internet phenomenon, who is well-known for his outrageous challenges.

“Kind of scary that I could have been on it,” he added on Twitter. MrBeast shares that it’s terrifying to think about how things could end differently if he accepts the invitation.

When MrBeast first uploaded the screenshot of his invitation, social media were shocked as it went viral. However, some Twitter users are skeptical about his tweet. While some people worry about his well-being, others question the post’s authenticity.

One aspect that people are focusing on is the color of the message that MrBeast uploaded. As anyone who uses iMessage regularly would know, a message received on iMessage shouldn’t be blue.

User @JUNIPER blatantly accused MrBeast of making everything up by replying, “wait why is the text receipt blue why are you making this up”.

Reacted to the reply, the famous controversial YouTuber then replied, “My friend sent me the screenshot of when he invited me. Didn’t think to scroll up and screenshot our old texts myself.”

After the initial accusation, the Titan Submarine invitation topic by MrBeast lost focus and turned to another issue, ‘is MrBeast really telling the truth? Or he made everything up just to get some attention?’

Following the initial tweet, some Twitter users are supporting the accusation. User @cj382847 replied, “Because he is faking it for attention. Fame is a dirty game.” 

User @SparkingClouds also mentioned the suspicious cropping in the image, saying that it is weird, implying that MrBeast is not telling the full truth.

However, some other people root for MrBeast’s authenticity. User @Strawberrycalf4 tweeted, “He’s not faking it at all though, he could of easily been invited. The people on the sub were men that had money. He’s a man with money.”

And some others are simply showing concern and relief that he did not accept the invitation.
