Is it too early to put Victor Wembanyama on this list? The French star rookie is undoubtedly the best prospect since LeBron James. At just 19, Wemby is already putting up ridiculous numbers even as a rookie.
So far in the season, Wembanyama is averaging 19.3 points per game while also getting about 10 boards per contest. We already saw how capable he is in scoring and that he can get up to 40 or even 50 points if he wants.
He is best known for being an elite shot blocker and rim protector, but Wembanyama’s offensive skill is also one in a million. Not only is he tall enough to dominate in the post, but he’s also a great shooter, who can make a move everywhere on the court, despite his stature and frame. The only requirement for Wemby is that he stays healthy and consistent. Hopefully, he will stay longer in the league than the other extremely tall NBA players in the past like Yao Ming, Shawn Bradley, Manute Bol, and Gheorge Muresan.
4. Devin Booker
Right now, Devin Booker is probably the best shooting guard in the league. The 2023-2024 season features a Phoenix Suns team with two of the most lethal scorers in the game (Bradley Beal, and Kevin Durant), but even with that, Booker is still able to score relentlessly.
Booker is an exceptional scoring threat that could score in different ways. At only 27 years old, DBook is more likely to join the 30k point club than guys who were drafted ahead of him like Karl Anthony-Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Kristaps Porzingis, and Myles Turner. For context, he’s been averaging at least 25 points per game in the last seven seasons and if he continues doing that, Booker will eventually reach 30k by the time he’s 37 years old. As of this writing, Booker is sitting at 13,000 points while averaging 27.3 PPG.
3. Donovan Mitchell
Donovan “Spida” Mitchell has always been a killer offensively. Even as a rookie, he was already putting up 20 points against superstars in the league. At that rate, it’ll only take him at least 7 more seasons to score 30,000 points in his career. By that time, he’d still be 36 years old.

He may not be the flashiest or the most athletic player, but Luka Doncic will always make his defenders pay. The golden boy of the Dallas Mavericks is playing on a different level now, considering that he may be about to enter his MVP season.
If Luka continues to play like he’s been playing, the 4-time NBA All-Star will only need 12 seasons of averaging 25 PPG to reach 30,000 points. He’s only 24 years old but Doncic is already notorious for being a menace on the offensive end.
