NBA Draft 2022: Kai Sotto Undrafted

As we previously stated, Kai Sotto is likely to be selected late in the first round. However, we can’t really hold the NBA teams responsible given the abundance of extremely outstanding young prospects in this draft pool.

With his recent announcement, Kai Sotto stunned the basketball community. Kai revealed that he would be participating in the upcoming NBA draft on June 23, 2022, following a successful stint with the Australian side Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball League.

The league is already overrun with a new type of frontcourt players. Guys with excellent ball-handling abilities aren’t afraid to shoot the ball from 30 feet away. Kai Sotto, who is from the Philippines, belongs to the new generation of bigs.

All Filipino fans worldwide are feeling the tension as the NBA Draft 2022 draws to a close, and Kai Sotto is no exception. When we asked some Filipino friends, they said they would be ecstatic if Kai were selected, even in the late second round. As the first home-grown Filipino to be selected in the NBA draft, Kai has a strong following especially among Filipino fans.

Whatever team chooses Kai, they will undoubtedly benefit from his talent because this young man works so hard.

As the NBA Draft 2022 comes to a close, Kai Sotto remains undrafted. Although Kai Sotto’s chances of playing in the NBA are still very good, many Filipino fans are undoubtedly dissatisfied.

Basketball player Kai Sotto was raised and born in the Philippines. He participated in last season’s NBL (National Basketball League) in Australia with the Adelaide 36ers. The 20-year-old big man had previously tried his luck with the NBA G-League Ignite franchise.
