A Massive Anime Announcement
Netflix has partnered with Valve to release a new anime inspired by the popular games G Dota and Dota 2. DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is to be released worldwide on March 25, 2021.
This 8-episode adventure will feature fan favorite characters such as Davion the Dragon Knight and Mirana the Moon Princess. Davion will go up against the Scourge Dominion, a nefarious group. Along the journey, Davion will encounter an ancient dragon race, hence the title. Davion and Mirana will then team up for an unforgettable, dragon-filled adventure.

DOTA 2 is one of the most popular games by Valve on Steam. With almost 600,000 daily recent players, this MOBA/MMORPG is a titan in the gaming industry. It involves pitting characters to fight in an area. The game is a persistently popular esport. Tournaments of DOTA 2 are held all around the globe.
Not Netflix’s first video game adaptation (or their last)
Netflix has also announced a new Sonic The Hedgehog animated series, titled Sonic Prime. Other titles in development include a Resident Evil, Castlevania, and Witcher series. Even a Cyberpunk series is in the works. DOTA: Dragon’s Blood will actively involve Valve. There are high expectations then regarding its execution. There is only a month to wait.
