XSEED Games announced last week that No More Heroes 3 is coming to major platforms soon. In an announcement made through their official Twitter account, the game is expected to release sometime this fall. Read on to find out about NMH 3’s release date, platforms, and other details about the upcoming game.
The newest version of No More Heroes 3 is an upgrade from when it was released last year
Although No More Heroes 3 is technically not a new game, it’s finally coming to major platforms. From its initial release for the Nintendo Switch last August 2021, it’s finally coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and the PC.

Moreover, developer Grasshopper Manufacture promised that the game will have improvements in its overall performance. With better visuals, faster loading times as well as improved framerates, NMH 3 is optimized for next-gen consoles.
No More Heroes 3 takes place after Travis’ retirement
If you haven’t played No More Heroes 3 yet, the whole game takes place nine years after the previous game in the series. Travis returns as the game’s protagonist in No More Heroes 3 as he sets out to take the top place on the assassin leaderboards.
However, the journey to the top isn’t as easy as it sounds. In No More Heroes 3, you will have to face killers from a whole other galaxy. And as a cherry on top, one of their main missions is to take over the world. Your job as Travis is to defeat them and defend Earth from being overrun by these invaders.
No More Heroes 3 is releasing in Quarter 3 of 2022. It will be available for $60 and its Day 1 version includes the following:
- Softcover art book
- CD of the game’s OST
- Santa Destroy license plate
- Custom box with exclusive art from the game’s artist, Yusuke Kozaki
