Some things written in history might be good while others, not so much. But, without them, some things we are enjoying today might not have become possible. What is more important is that even though the past was not kind, we can still choose to become better and make a better place for the next generations to come.

As the famous saying from Dalai Lama goes, “We cannot change the past, but we can reshape the future”.
