After an extended wait, Blizzard is finally ready to launch the Beta version of Overwatch 2. The Beta version is going to be available in late April. Moreover, Overwatch 2 PvP Beta PC requirements have been revealed.

But it’ll be available to only people who register. Players can sign up to request access to the beta on

Blizzard had announced a sequel, Overwatch 2 in 2019. The game will feature both new PvE(Player vs. Environment) and PvP( Player vs. Player) modes. The modes will launch together with multiple new maps and heroes, a new HUD, and a significant engine upgrade. Updated appearances of all the heroes are going to be exclusive to Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 will replace the first Overwatch as an update, and in and of itself, the PvP content is free for existing users. The game’s PvP mode is going to be changed from 6v6 to 5v5, with the roles limited to 1 tank, two damage, and two support.

Following are the minimum system requirements for participating Beta version.

  • CPU: Intel Core i3 or AMD Phenom X3 8650
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 600 series or AMD Radeon HD 7000 series
  •  Memory: 6GB RAM
  •  Storage: 50GB
  • Monitor capable of a minimum of 1024×768 display resolution

Recommended system requirement:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 5
  •  GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD R9 380
  •  Memory: 8GB RAM
  •  Storage: 50GB
  • Monitor capable of a minimum of 1024×768 display resolution

Players will have to wait just a few weeks for the Beta version of Overwatch 2. They’ll experience the new modes and features that will be tested during the Beta period.
