Independent video game publisher Versus Evil, in collaboration with Obsidian Entertainment, announced today the launch of Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch. Scheduled for August 8th for €49,99. It is already possible to pre-order the digital version on the Nintendo Switch e-Shop, receiving a 20% discount.
Nintendo Switch players and those approaching the world of Pillars for the first time will finally be able to enjoy the profound sense of exploration and discovery offered by this GDR adventure created with extreme passion and attention to detail and made possible thanks to the contribution of over 70,000 supporters on Kickstarter. Each player will live an adventure set in a completely original fantasy world, full of engaging monster-infested challenges and dungeons, further enriched by the game environments and additional DLC content in two parts, The White March: Part I and Part II.
In addition to this, Nintendo Switch players will also be able to count on all the major updates of the PC version, including a higher level cap, extended AI options for party members and new difficulty levels, so they can enjoy it at their best. It will also be possible to side with one of the different factions through the reputation system and forge one’s own story through the loyalty relationships created during the course of events, including those with characters that can become faithful adventure companions. In this world every decision has its consequences and the path chosen will influence the fate of the whole party.
Pillars of Eternity for Nintendo Switch combines a strategic real-time gaming experience with turn-based combat, all topped off with countless side missions and set in an epic universe to explore.
