Meet Your Maker (PS4 & PS5)

Including Meet Your Maker for April’s lineup of free PS Plus games didn’t really come as a surprise. The game comes from Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive, and it is going to be a Day One release on the PS Plus.

  • If you think that the studio name sounds familiar, you might have seen some of their other works like Dead by Daylight.
  • Their upcoming game is a creative shooter that incorporates raiding and building into its gameplay. From what we know so far, every level will be designed by the players themselves. Neat, right?
  • The game is set in a post-apocalyptic environment and players have to adapt to the different levels they can play on. The game also features multiplayer, so you can either raid or fend off trespassers together.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4 & PS5)

The second game coming to the PS Plus subscription this April is one of PlayStation’s classic and beloved characters. In Sackboy: A Big Adventure, players can enjoy jumping from platform to platform.

  • It also changes things up by incorporating 3D point of view and movement in the game. This feature is something that hasn’t been done before in the previous Sackboy titles.
  • The visuals are accompanied by a great soundtrack, so it’s a no-brainer that Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a game loved by all.
  • If you haven’t had the chance to play Sackboy: A Big Adventure yet, don’t let this opportunity pass you! Despite its short play time, this game is great to let off some steam and chill out after a long, tiring day.

Tails of Iron (PS4 & PS5)

Finally, the third game coming to the PlayStation Plus service this April is Tails of Iron. In this game, you take on the role of a rat who fights off troops from the Frog Clan. You play as Redgi, the heir to the Rat Throne, and you need to restore the Kingdom by taking down Greenwart, the leader of the Frog Clan.

  • Completely opposite from Sackboy’s wholesome setting, Tails of Iron is a 2D side-scroller RPG. Have we mentioned that the game is fully hand-drawn?
  • Tails of Iron has a lot to offer its players. Even though it is a side-scroller, we’re confident you won’t get bored as you encounter all kinds of things on your journey to restoring the Kingdom.

Games leaving the PS Plus service this April

Since these three games are coming to the service pretty soon, it’s also time to say goodbye to March’s free games on the PS Plus. On April 3, the following games won’t be available for download anymore:

  • Battlefield 2042
  • Code Vein
  • Minecraft Dungeons
