In the new game Pokémon Legends: Arceus, hisuian form Pokémon were introduced to the franchise. There are a total of 18 new Pokémon forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and they may be around the Hisui region.

Despite the fact that Hisui is in the same region as Sinnoh, the plot of Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place long before the Sinnoh fans are familiar with Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and their recent remakes.

Hisuian Voltorb

The Hisuian Voltorb is a regional variety of Voltorb from the Hisui area that first appeared in Pokémon Legends for the Nintendo Switch. To commemorate the launch of Poké Legends, it was available in Pokémon Go on Sunday, January 30th.

Hisuian Voltorb, unlike other Voltorbs, is an electric and grass-type Pokémon that cannot evolve in Pokémon Go before. It can, however, develop into a Hisuian Electrode in Legends: Arceus, which preserves the electric and grass-typing.

According to Siliconera, Hisuian Voltorbs will be catchable starting January 30th. According to the story, the Team GO Rocket Power Plant event will end at 10:00 a.m. local time. Hisuian Voltorbs will start appearing in the game at the same time. If trainers wish to catch Hisuian Voltorb before the time limit runs out, they must move quickly.

While the Hisuian Voltorb is now catchable in Pokémon GO, it cannot have its evolution into a Hisuian Electrode. Voltorb will continue to spawn normally as well. Players should look for Hisuian Voltorb in more natural regions than Voltorb’s non-regional counterpart because it is a Lightning and Grass-type Pokémon.
