Nintendo is bringing supporters back to the Sinnoh area with the remakes of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This is part of the twenty-fifth-anniversary celebrations of Nintendo. In this guide, we’ll talk about how to reach Iron Island.
While the game themselves are commemorating their fifteenth anniversary, these new entries have a fresh new visual design while keeping the plot and basic gameplay loop that fans remember from the Nintendo DS editions.
The area is relatively small and plain in comparison to other locations in the video game. This island’s distinctive quality is the large cave, which houses not only a selection of Pokémon to collect but also Team Galactic grunts to battle. Iron Tail and other TMs, as well as a range of valuable items, are available to players.
Discovering Iron Island
Exploring the tunnel network will eventually bring the player to Riley, an NPC who will work with the player to take out the Team Galactic invasion. Riley not only heals the player’s team after each battle but typical Pokémon battles are turned into double and multi battles.
- Riley will offer the player an egg, which will eventually hatch into a Riolu, once the enemy is cleared out. Because the egg must fit into the active team, players should make sure they have an available squad spot.
- If there isn’t any available, players must return to Canalave City to make a deposit before returning to Riley. This is the only means of finding a Riolu in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and given how vital Lucario can be against the Elite Four, it’s well worth the journey.
Location
- As soon as the HM Surf is accessible, players may now be able to go to Canalave City.
- Players must defeat Fantina at the Hearthstone City gym in order to use Surf outside of matches.
- Travel to Jubilife City at this point and walk all the way to the city’s left side. After which, activate surf to continue west.
- When arriving in Canalave City, players should look for a sailor standing on a wooden pier alongside a boat in the city’s southeastern area. When you speak with the sailor, they will be asking the player if they want to go to Iron Island.
