Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 All Bosses + Ending

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 dropped nearly two weeks ago. Following Huggy Wuggy seemingly getting killed off from the game, there are new enemy toys players must evade. In this guide, we’ll list all bosses and the ending to Poppy Playtime Chapter 2.

All bosses in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2

Bunzo Bunny

First boss fight we encounter in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is Bunzo Bunny. If we recall Mommy Long Legs and her challenges, he is one of the toys overseeing the first challenge. For Bunzo Bunny’s challenge, we participate in the Musical Memory challenge. To complete this challenge, players need to successfully input the sequences flashed on the screen while Bunzo crashes his cymbals for more fear factor.

This challenge is like Simon Says, only the player’s life is on the line if he fails to follow the pattern sequences.

Moreover, Bunzo gradually lowers himself from the ceiling every time the player messes up a pattern. If he gets close enough, the challenge ends and Bunzo kills the player. But if the player manages to succeed in the game, Bunzo won’t attack and instead remain at a safe distance from the player.

After the player leaves the playing area for Musical Memory, we can hear the sound of something getting hit. Following this is the sound of cymbals crashing before things go silent.

If players return to the Game Station area before proceeding to the train station, Bunzo’s corpse can be seen hanging from the ceiling. From the sounds we heard earlier, it is implied that Mommy Long Legs killed Bunzo as a consequence of the player completing the Musical Memory challenge.

Mini Huggies

For the next challenge, this horror version of Whac-A-Mole tests an individual’s reaction time. Known as Whack-A-Wuggy, players have to hit Mini Huggies to prevent them from emerging from the holes. There are eighteen holes in total from where Mini Huggies crawl out from.

Additionally, Mommy Long Legs talks to the player throughout the minigame. She also reveals that the Mini Huggies had strings attached to them. However, she shows the player the cut strings in her hand, implying that she wants the Mini Huggies to attack the player.

If the player succeeds in the challenge, Mini Huggies can be heard screaming when the player leaves the area. Moreover, returning to the Game Station area before the game ends shows the corpses of the Mini Huggies on the ceiling. This means Mommy Long Legs also got rid of them similar to how she killed Bunzo Bunny after you complete the first challenge.

PJ Pug-a-Pillar

The last of the mini bosses in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is PJ Pug-a-Pillar. His challenge is called Statues because here, you will play a deadly game of Red Light, Green Light. Throughout the game, PJ Pug-a-Pillar follows the player while the lights turn on and off. However, the player can only move throughout the maze if the lights are switched off. If they walk or use the GrabPack while the lights are on, PJ Pug-a-Pillar attacks and instantly kills the player. Additionally, the challenge fails if PJ catches up to the player.

But the challenge is rigged from the start since the player ends up at a dead end. To escape, you grapple onto the observation room at the top. This angers Mommy Long Legs because according to her, you are ‘cheating’. Then, she gives you the final challenge: a deadly game of Hide and Seek.

Additionally, PJ Pug-a-Pillar is not killed by Mommy Long Legs. This may be because she is too busy trying to chase the player for her to dispose of PJ similar to how she killed Bunzo and the Mini Huggies.

Mommy Long Legs

For the final challenge, Mommy Long Legs is angry because you escaped from the dead end in the Statues game. She scarily counts down while you try and get a head start from her.

Then, she starts chasing you throughout the factory until she accidentally gets her hand stuck in an industrial grinder. Mommy Long Legs starts getting crushed by the grinder. However, she is not focused on the pain but on the fear of being a part of ‘him’.

At first, it’s unclear who she was talking about. But as soon as she dies, the shutter behind her opens a bit and a claw reaches out. It pulls her remains in but does not attack the player. This mysterious claw is known as The Prototype or Experiment 1006.

In Chapter 3 of Poppy Playtime, it’s likely The Prototype is the next villain.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Ending

After successfully retrieving all three train codes, the player makes their way to the train. But before they board the train, they free Poppy from where she is webbed on the wall. Contrary to her earlier attitude, Poppy seems cold and distant while talking to the player. She lets the player board the train anyway.

The train ride starts off without any problems and it looks like we’re finally getting out of Playtime Co. However, Poppy starts talking over the intercom and makes a remark about the player being ‘too perfect’. Because of this, she cannot let him leave the factory yet. The train starts building up speed and eventually derails and crashes because of faulty brakes.

Then, the game ends with the player momentarily waking up and seeing a sign pointing to ‘Playcare’.

It’s unclear what Chapter 3 of Poppy Playtime will reveal. But it’s likely we’ll see more of The Prototype in the next game. Additionally, the next Chapter can also shed light on Poppy’s true intentions, especially since she purposefully trapped the player in the factory.
