Similar to how players felt when they first played through Chapter 1, some are wondering if MOB Games is going to port Chapter 2 to Android. As of writing, there is no official word yet from the team behind Poppy Playtime on a Play Store release. But if Chapter 1 got a mobile version, then it’s likely Chapter 2 will have one as well.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 for Android may release in October this year

If we compare it to how MOB Games ported Chapter 1 to both Android and Android, here are the release dates.

  • On October 12, 2021, Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 was released on Steam, meaning PC players got to play it first.
  • Then, the game was made available for Android and Android players on March 11, 2022.

Comparing these two dates, they are five months apart. And now that Chapter 2 was released just this May 5, 2022, Android users may be getting it in five months’ time. This means that Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 for Android is possibly coming to the Play Store sometime around October this year.

However, these are merely speculations since MOB Games may be working on the Android version earlier than expected. Given the massive success and high reviews it has on both the Play Store (Android) and Play Store (Android), surely they won’t have fans waiting too long.

But of course, we will still have to wait for an official announcement from MOB Games regarding this. It’s highly likely they will still make an Android version for the second chapter of the survival horror game so don’t worry too much.
