Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: Third Train Code (Complete Guide)

After the unsettling conclusion of Poppy Playtime’s first chapter, A Tight Squeeze, it’s time to continue the tale and discover what’s really going on in this factory. Poppy Playtime 2 is here with a brand new terrifying monster: Mommy Long Legs! In this guide, we’ll discuss a full walkthrough on how to get Poppy Playtime 2’s third train code. Can you reach the train station on time?

Back at the Game Station.. Again

Head over to the Train panel board where you’ll notice the 3rd level is now ready to be activated. Pull the level to proceed. Listen to the recording and head over to the next area.

Next Area

Use your hand to pull and open the door, then head down to the next area. You’ll find another power source puzzle here. Stand in the middle of the room and look up. You will see a pole that you can use to go up.

Once you’re there, connect your hand and jump back down to the 2 posts. Go around them and get the green charge. Use that to power the next switch on the opposite side.

You’ll notice that the pole on the right side is now available for you to use. Pull yourself up again and connect the 2nd charge. After that, return to where you came from and a new gate on the right side of the purple room will now be open.

Statues!

A video recording will play, explaining the mechanics of the game. It’s a little similar to Squid Game’s first game so it won’t be hard to understand. Good luck! 🤫

Once the cutscene is over and the lights are turned off, the game will begin. Stay away from PJ Pug-a-Pillar! From the entrance, just head straight, left, right, and then straight to the glowing rings. Use them to swing across to reach the next area.

The next area would require you to pick from Easy, Medium, and Hard. Go to your right and pick the Hard route. Just follow the tunnel until you see a collectible statue. After taking it, make sure you turn right to get out of the tunnel quicker.

Once you reach the next area, you will notice giant yellow blocks. Use them to jump over the foam play area. If you fall off, it’s almost certain death, so be extra careful!

When you’re near the lighted area, look up to your right and you’ll see a pole you can use to pull yourself up. Go down the hole and you will hear Mommy Long Legs tell you that you cheated the game.

Use the pole to swing across the next area. After reaching a dead-end, look up again and you’ll notice another pole you can use. You will do this again after another dead-end.

Next, enter the vent on the left wall. Another pole will be found at the end of the room when you look up. Keep following the path, up the staircase, and turn left. Here, you’ll find the Water Treatment facility.

Get the document found on top of the control panel. You will have to solve the puzzle to be able to cross the platform. The right sequence is as follows:

L > L > R > R > L > R > L

Once you’ve positioned the bridge correctly, head down and go straight, then left. You will be in another puzzle room. Step onto the platform.

The goal here is to obtain one of the toys going around the tubes. Observe the pattern and make sure there’s a toy before you push the buttons!

First, push the Red Button on the wall to change the direction of the arrow (from right to left). After doing so, pull and hole the lever going up (right lever) to ascend. Keep going up until you see a Blue Button on the opposite wall and hit it to change the direction of the next group of tubes.

Next, hit the Yellow Button to once again, change the direction of the toys. Lastly, pull up the level to reach the very top of the factory. Here, it gets a little bit more tricky. You will need to time pushing the button so that you will “trap” the toy into going to your platform instead. To do this, wait until a toy is past the arrow mark before pushing it to change the direction towards you.

Don’t forget to collect your statue! Simply go to the top of the room and turn to your right and it will be sitting on top of a ramp.

Go back to the Water Treatment facility. You will need to go to the other room to proceed. The right sequence is as follows:

L > L > L > R > R

Head over to the room on the right. Place the Bunzo toy over the Toy Scanner to open the door. Go straight then to the vent on the left side of the wall. Take the left path of the vent and to the area with red lights.

Be Quick!

This puzzle is time-sensitive, so be sure to run as fast as you can before the gates close! Connect your hand to the power source and around the pole to open the door with a symbol of a hand. Get the green charge and head back to the entrance where you need to trigger a gate to enter.

You need to quickly go to the next room. Turn left, and then left again. You’ll be back to the area where you got the green charge. Solve the power puzzle and head back to the newly opened room and connect the power supply with your other hand.

This will open a previously closed gate.

Go back to vent and turn left. You will fall down into a dark hallway. Head straight towards the dead-end and lookup. The next game will then begin. 😁

Hide and Seek!

Enter the door that just opened and climb down the stairs. Keep following the path until you reach a set of stairs. Use to barrel as a platform to enter the hole in the wall.

Go to the end of the room until you see blue pipes with another hole, then enter. Jump down the vent and follow the hallway. At the end of the room, pull the lever right beside the cat painting.

Enter the vent (you’ll see a collectible on the opposite side) and then jump down. Go to the opening, opposite the Emergency Exit. You’ll eventually reach a room with a colored wire puzzle.

Stand in the middle and look up to see a pole and pull yourself up. Here, you’ll the clues on how to solve the puzzle. If you don’t want to do that, highlight the answer! (ANSWER: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow)

Enter the room and follow the path. A scene will trigger. Now go back to the colored wire puzzle and pull yourself up where the clues were.

Keep going straight until you see a lever and pull it down. You will notice that the machine isn’t functioning. You’ll see a platform with stairs on the left side of the room. Opposite the green light, you’ll see a red cog on the shelves.

Pick it up and head over to the stairs. Place the cog on the Mold Slot. Get the green charge and use it on the machine. Wait for it to end and enter the door. Pick up the yellow cog.

Go back to the lever at the beginning of the room and place the yellow cog on the slot. Pull the lever once again, and the gate will now open. Head straight across the bridge. Another scene will trigger. Go back to where you got the yellow cog and close the door.

After the scene is done, go back and cross the bridge. Pull the lever at the end of the room. And again, this triggers another chase scene. It will be pretty obvious where you’ll need to go. But follow the instructions below if you need directions:

• Go back the opposite way then turn right. Then, take the door on your left with the bright white light.
• Jump down and turn in the opposite direction, then turn right, and another right. Enter the pipeline.
• Left > Right > Right > Left > Right > Straight
• Look up and pull yourself to the next area. Take the left path and swing across. Next, jump down the hole.
• Pull the lever of the Emergency Exit gate and enter. Use your blue hand to open the next gate.
• Mommy Long Legs will try to chase you again. Once she reaches the lighted room, pull the lever to get her stuck and help you escape.

After a brief cutscene, another gate will open.

Keep going up until you reach the area where you have to jump across. Take the opening to your left and up another set of stairs. You’ll eventually reach a door near an orange light. Enter and follow the path.

Another collectible is located just across the control room where Poppy is. Grab it using the extending hand and you’re done!

There will be a room to your left. Poppy Playtime 2’s third train code will be there behind Poppy.

Go back to the set of stairs again and head straight. Enter the blue slide until you reach an area with a yellow door. Go to the left path until you reach the train. Use your green hand to open the door.

Choo, choo!

Look at Clue #1 and place the right icons on the panel. Next, use the round buttons below to change the icon colors. Use Clue #2 for the correct colors. Lastly, push the icons according to Poppy Playtime 2’s third train code, which is: 1, 4, 2, 3. Pull the lever on the right side with the golden light.
