Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3 possible Villains

Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 possible Villains - Cover

Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 is scheduled for a release next year. With the building anticipation of its release, some fans are wondering who the villains are in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3.

So far, all we have is a trailer that didn’t reveal much about the third chapter of Poppy Playtime. However, there were some clues in the trailer that might point at who the villain is for the next game. Here are some of our theories as to who the possible villains are in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 is filled with unlimited possibilities

The second chapter of Poppy Playtime ended with a major plot twist which sent us off the tracks — literally.

After we successfully defeated Mommy Long Legs using the industrial grinder, our character thought that we were finally free from the horrors of the Playtime Co. Toy Factory. What players weren’t expecting was Poppy herself betraying us.

Just as we were about to make it out of the Toy Factory, Poppy derails the train from the tracks and we end up getting hurt in the crash. After our character gets up from where they fell, we see that the only way to go from there was into a tunnel leading to the PLAYCARE.

That’s where the game ends and we’re left wondering: who’s left for us to fight against? Obviously, Poppy made the decision to keep us in the factory since we were too perfect for her to let go of.

It seems Poppy may want us to free some of the other toys aside from her. And what do we have to do that? Go further into the Toy Factory, of course. But there’s no telling what horrors are lurking in every corner of the Toy Factory.

But from fan theories, here are some of the possible villains for Poppy Playtime Chapter 3.

The third chapter of Poppy Playtime may include villains with familiar faces

One of the longest-running discussions in the Poppy Playtime community is the identity of The Prototype. In the second chapter, we can see a claw emerge from the shutter near Mommy Long Legs’ body. Then, the claw eerily drags away Mommy Long Legs’ body but it doesn’t pursue the player any further.

The claw has a design similar to that of The Prototype. From what we know so far about this “toy”, it’s a failed experiment which displayed aggressive and violent behavior. This was also the reason why The Prototype was sealed away.

Most fans believe that this is the next villain for Poppy Playtime Chapter 3. Moreover, the teaser showed us the bodies of the toys we fought against in the first two chapters in the series. Even Huggy Wuggy’s lifeless body was shown in the trailer for the third chapter.

There is also a gas mask with bloodstains on it. Some fan theories suggest that the third chapter focuses on the orphans whose lives were used as an experiment in the Toy Factory.

This might also hint at what The Prototype is doing with the discarded bodies of the toys we encountered. There’s no certain explanation as to what the gas mask stands for, but we’re sure it will reveal more about the dark horrors of Playtime Co. Toy Factory.

If Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 doesn’t introduce an entirely new villain, we can expect to see a Frankenstein version of toys. This means that we may finally see what The Prototype is actually doing to the bodies of toys like Mommy Long Legs and Huggy Wuggy.
