PROJECT Playtime - Early Access, How to avail - Cover

PROJECT: Playtime is the upcoming project from MOB Games to be released exclusively for gamers on the PC! Unlike its source material, PROJECT: Playtime allows players to team up with friends to conquer the horrors roaming the halls of Playtime Co. Toy Factory. The game was announced a week ago, and thankfully, players won’t take long to try it out. PROJECT: Playtime will be available for Early Access soon, so if you want to jump on the hype train, here’s how to avail yourself of the game!

PROJECT: Playtime enters Early Access next week

According to the two latest trailers on MOB Games’ official YouTube channel, excited players don’t need to wait any longer as a big surprise is in store next week. On December 6, PROJECT: Playtime is available for Early Access through Steam!

Another thing we are looking forward to from PROJECT: Playtime is that it is entirely free to play during and after it leaves Early Access.

  • Some game developers on Steam release their projects in Early Access but gamers need to make a purchase first. This won’t be the case for PROJECT: Playtime so all you’ll need is a PC capable of running the game. After that, you’ll be good to go!

  • During the Early Access period, MOB Games will give players the ability to provide feedback on their experience with PROJECT: Playtime. If players encounter bugs or issues, they are open to hearing from players through platforms such as Discord, Twitter, and their Steam community page
  • The Early Access version of PROJECT: Playtime will include a limited number of features for now. Although players have access to 8 perks and 8 sabotages for the Survivors and Monsters respectively, more will come once the full version is released

  • Players will also have a grasp of the game’s story. However, more details and features are going to be available once MOB Games releases the game to the general public. The projected release date for PROJECT: Playtime’s full version is in Q1 or Q2 of 2023

What is Early Access?

Before we get into it, some players may be wondering what Early Access is. On Steam, this is a way for developers to receive constructive criticism from gamers regarding their ongoing projects. Games in this stage are still in development which means that you have limited access to the contents.

It is different from an actual release date as the developers are most likely ironing out the details of their projects. It is not an uncommon practice for developers to do this.

With all of that out of the way, let’s get to the matter at hand. If you’re interested in being one of the first players to try PROJECT: Playtime, it’s fairly easy to do so. MOB Games haven’t put out an announcement that Early Access will be exclusive, so it means anyone who has a Steam account can avail of it.

There isn't any type of game Kath shies away from... except if it's a horror game.
