God of War series, Horizon series, and Marvel’s Spiderman series are some of the examples of how epic PlayStation Studios’ games are.
Untitled New Project
According to recent reports, SIE London Studio is working on a new PS5 online game. This is not the first time we have heard about this, but this is where it gets confirmed. The official website of PlayStation London Studio mentions multiple open job positions open. It invited talented people to participate in the development of this untitled mysterious project. All we know about this new game is that it is going to be a multiplayer game exclusively for the next-gen console.
“London Studio is building a team from the ground up for an upcoming PlayStation 5 online game. Quality is something we are very proud of and are looking for the right team to take us forward. Newcomers arrive at the perfect time to help shape our plans for a project that is hugely important to us,” announced PS London Studios
The recent job postings showcase the following positions as being open for consideration:
- Lead Character Artist
- Lead Technical Artist
- Procedural Technical Artist
- Lead Online Programmer
- Senior AI Programmer
- Senior Level / Mission Designer
Upcoming SIE Projects
Recently SIE has recalled the commitment to the project of Blood & Truth. Instead, they emphasized how this multiplayer video game has enormous potential. But apart from this untitled project, SIE has a lot of amazing works lined up for next year as well as what remains of this year.
First of all, Horizon Forbidden West is all set to release on 18th February 2021. It is a highly anticipated sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, one of the finest games ever made. Next God of War: Ragnarok is also arriving sometime in 2022 as seen from the awe-striking trailer at PlayStation Showcase. Marvel’s Spiderman 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine are also in development and are expected to arrive by 2022 and 2023 respectively.
Apart from this, Unchartered: Legacy of Thieves Collection and The Last of Us Part 2 Factions have also been confirmed by Naughty Dog. Demon Souls Remaster and Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is also coming really soon. So, Playstation Studios has literally a lot lined up for the fans in the upcoming years. This new untitled next-gen project might be another gem in SIE’s already OP catalog of games.
