Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Require 105 GB To Install

Red Dead Redemption 2

We’re just a month away from Red Dead Redemption 2’s release, and it seems that we have some prominent information going around the internet.

The website RockstarIntel.com posted the back of Red Dead Redemption 2’s PS4 Pro Bundle, which revealed some valuable information.

First, Red Dead Redemption 2 is associated with PlayStation as some kind of a timed exclusive. The bundle says, “Timed Exclusive for 30 Days” followed by “Online Content”. This could mean that PlayStation users will get access to Red Dead Online content 30 days earlier than the Xbox users. We don’t know what these content will be, but we hope Rockstar will respond to it very soon.

Second, Red Dead Online will allow between 2-32 players, as mentioned in small white print on the box. There will be in-game purchases as well, most probably for Red Dead Online as Rockstar’s single-player campaigns are micro-transaction free. So, nothing to worry about that.

And finally, the game size. Red Dead Redemption 2 will require a minimum of 105GB of free space to download/install. This is almost twice the size of GTA V when it came out for the PS4.

Rockstar Games are yet to confirm the details and until then, let’s just tick the information as unconfirmed.
