Riot Games has become one of the most recognizable video game publishers in recent times. From Valorant to the all-favorite League of Legends, the gaming community has received quality competitive esports games from Riot. Now, Riot has come out with a new Riot Mobile app as the mobile hub for all Riot Games. This will include League of Legends and Valorant. The new app will launch on the 4th of October, 2021.

Riot Mobile

  • The Riot Mobile app will take the place of the League+ app. This app had served as the mobile hub for League of Legends, where players were able to receive newsletters and access their stats. The new app will be a single hub for all games by Riot; all current ones and those that will come out in the future.
  • Riot Games had been hinting about a move from the League+ app to a multi-game functionality app for a year now, to meet the needs of fans who played different games by Riot.
  • Up until 2019, since being founded in 2006, League of Legends was the only game that had been developed by Riot Games. But since then, Riot has released a number of titles.
  • With these releases, a new app that serves as a hub for all games is definitely a welcome move for fans of Riot titles. If players already have the League+ app, it will be automatically updated to the Riot Mobile app.

Once the app launches, players can:

  • Access other Player Profiles
  • Quick Paths to find Friends and chat
  • Chat cross-game and cross-region

After the initial launch, Riot has plans to include new features that will focus on esports, match history, and player security. Riot’s plan for the app is to allow “for players to connect with the content and people they enjoy across all of our titles in a fun and comfortable way.”
