Rockstar Games Confirms They’ll Fix Red Dead Online’s Broken Economy

Red Dead Online

In a recent Red Dead Online Beta status update, Rockstar Games has acknowledged players’ feedback on the game’s broken economy and confirmed they’ll work things out. They’re further aware of the constant kicking out of players from sessions due to some persistent bugs and plan to fix them at the earliest.

“Our current areas of focus include the in-game economy, which will require some additional balancing in order to ensure all activities are appropriately rewarding and fun, as well as some persistent bugs that are causing some players to be kicked from sessions”, Rockstar wrote in an announcement.

Many players were particularly angry and disappointed in Red Dead Online’s heavy-grind economy. You dress as a metal-armoured robot with a weird bucket helmet, fight more than three dozen sharpshooters and participate in an over-powered boss-fight. And the reward is $9.52. And trust me, if you consider this payout with former missions, it’s still pretty fair. Fun fact, two inebriates acting strong gets $50 each.

Not just the missions, but the guns and apparels are extremely expensive that’ll require months of grinding or aggressive livestock killing and fauna-hunting to meet the needs. Plus, there’s another currency – the gold bars. Upon finishing a mission, you’re rewarded with almost $0.02 gold. I don’t think the reward word even fits here.

Rockstar Games is strongly determined to serve the community and are waiting for more feedback from the players. They’ll be releasing updates this weekend with more to come in the next week. As I’ve told this to many, it’s just the beta and Rockstar will surely look into fixing what would possibly cause them trouble in the future.

If you encountered any bugs, crashes, glitches or general “that’s against the minimum wage law!” problems, head over to Red Dead Feedback to report your issues. This not only gives Rockstar a hint of what’s wrong but that gamers are conscious and aware.

Make sure you subscribe to our push-notifications and never miss an update on Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. Until next time, That’s right girl!
