Bloodborne PS5 Remaster and Bloodborne 2 in Works

Bloodborne is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released for PS4 in March 2015 and was one of the best games that year. It garnered insane critical acclaim and got nominated for the Game of the Year Award as well. Unfortunately, it was beaten by none other than Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt (also an action RPG). Needless to say, it was showered with tremendous love from fans and critics alike. Ever since then, fans have been waiting for new updates about the game and we finally have some.

Bloodborne Remastered for PS5

Bloodborne

This year many games have either been remastered for next-gen consoles or have been announced to get a remaster. For a few weeks, rumors regarding Bloodborne remaster for PS5 have been circulating as well. If there is one thing that we have learned, is that such rumors mostly have some truth attached to them.

A Reddit user meatsmack69, Colin Moriarty said that Bluepoint Games is currently working on a Bloodborne PlayStation 5 remaster. This is not the first time we’ve heard about Bloodborne remaster but this one is more believable. This is mostly because Moriarty is a very reliable leaker. His leaks about Demon’s Souls Remake and Marvel’s Wolverine turned out to be entirely true.

Yharnam, as you might know, is the place where events of the game take place. Keep in mind that Colin is not a random user, but a person who has his reputation at stake. Colin Moriarty is an established and popular Playstation Podcaster and narrative writer. So, when he says something might happen, we better believe there is something surely happening.

Bloodborne 2

According to Moriarty, not only Bloodborne PlayStation 5, remaster is in the works, but it’s also getting a sequel. If indeed this is true, it is great news for not just fans, but the entire gaming world. A sequel to a game as epic as Bloodborne might just be one of the best projects in the future of gaming.

But he clearly mentioned via his Discord that he isn’t very sure about the sequel. He said that he’ll need to confirm it once more with his source at Bluepoint. Till then all we can do is wait. Also, it is our advice to not get too excited about it as it is not officially confirmed yet. The best thing to do is to wait for some official confirmations and information.
